*A group of well-to-do political Conservatives, smarting from the results of the 2012 election
and blaming the media, will make a very strong run at a hostile takeover of one of the Big 3
Networks, with the goal of taking control and totally remaking the News Division.
*Quiet but very serious negotiations will take place between the NFL and ESPN on the subject of
giving the Mother Ship an exclusive on future Super Bowls. Word of this will leak and force
Congress to hold hearings about the possibility of requiring certain events be broadcast over-the-air.
*PBS will begin the process of becoming an ad-supported network, seeing the handwriting on the wall
that their funding will eventually be cut from the Federal budget.
*Someone will attempt to revive the comedy/variety format from the 1970's. It will be the biggest
Epic Fail in TV history.
*Someone in his family will finally talk some sense into Pat Robertson. He will retire from
The 700 Club and stop embarrassing himself saying bizarre and stupid things on-air.
*The new, earlier Jimmy Kimmel Live will seriously threaten to knock Letterman into 3rd. place.
*The broadcast networks will be down to one soap apiece by year's end.
*CSI: Terre Haute will NOT premiere on the CBS primetime lineup
*MyTV, The CW and ION will still all suck.
