I would HOPE so, there's no other justifiable reason for dropping any Simpsons airing in exchange for mediocre, unfunny dreck like "Yes, Dear" (or for adding more infomercials, for that matter). If I still lived in the market I'd be steamed.
But as AC said, do keep in mind that Chicago still has it far better than smaller markets such as Rockford and Toledo, which seem to go back and forth between weekends only and one daily weekday airing.
