What is worth noting is that Turner sold the Charlotte station and used that money as part of the funding to launch CNN.

And the earlier Television magazines are a bitch to find. If anyone here has any I am missing, please let me know. I will of course share them with K.M. for the UHF site! In particular, "Television Age" / "Television Radio Age" are badly needed.

In few words, you have described why I work on WorldRadioHistory. It's a 50 hour or more a week occupation, but is still rewarding. I get emails from people who have based their doctoral thesis on content on the site... from university professors who have used it to create a course outline... and from the children and grandkids of radio folks who simply want to know more about their family.

I am gratified that you share, David ... our mutual interest in preserving history has made it a pleasure to work with you over the years.

I am also thankful that you host the UHF History site on your server these days. I appreciate being part of the World Radio History "family".
