I think that whole Citadel/Cumulus thing is starting to get into the short rows. There are moves being made to keep the wheels from falling off before the change-over.
 
Been out of town for awhile, & just now catching up. Folks on this board seem to think working for Cumulus will be even worse than working for Citadel, but I am not clear on why this feeling exists.

Can someone enlighten me? How can Cumulus be worse than Citadel as an employer?
Anyone have an opinion based on actual happenings in Cumulus elsewhere?

As an avid fan of idle, useless speculation, my money is on Cumulus trying to streamline the business side of these stations. I'm also betting they're more likely to keep the on air side built up.

They will keep the on air up, but Jan J. will have his fingerprints on EVERYTHING that WIVK does. Simple as that. He was all over us in Lexington, KY and he is all over WSM-FM in Nashville. No reason to think differently about WIVK.
