Talk about a really good memory, I haven't used that quote in years.

I have worked in places like you describe, where the comraderie overshadows the garbage (Metro Traffic in the early 90's. We still keep in touch). That wasn't true of the NYG when I was there, and I wasn't in touch with a lot of folks after I left. Glad to see it turned out to be a positive experience.

Like I said, I worked with some good people there. I'm sure some of you stuck around while the band played 'Nearer My God to Thee'.

I wasn't trying to dampen anyone elses memories, I just didn't want a lurker thinking that was the greatest radio station ever to work at! Unique, yes. Greatest, no.
