850AM Raleigh going TALK!

Also what I don't get is why he's reiterating his bad decision making? We've gotten 25,000 hits and over 2,000 emails from upset listeners? Yet you move the bulk of your local programming to a radio station where the bulk of a dying listening audience probably doesn't even know what e-mail is (WSJS) or the internet for that matter. Not to mention the signal is barely pulling a 1.0 in the ratings books....the christian stations have better ratings.

I wonder what kind of magic 8 ball Don Curtis will be using for the WZTK flip... :-\

The problem with the 101.1 signal is that it's not good enough to be a Triad signal, but not good enough to be a Triangle signal. It seems like a good idea since it covers 2 markets, but doesn't really cover either market, as a whole, very well.

102.9 all but disappears at the eastern Wake County line because of the Kinston station on the same frequency. In Raleigh, Cary, Durham, yes it is a decent signal... but more and more people are moving to Rocky Mount, Clayton, etc...

In Wilson and Goldsboro all you can hear is the Kinston station.

LOL, uhhhhh, who in the world is moving to Rocky Mount

Phil Z is just a jerk to work with ;D
