Hey I was just wondering if anyone knows if they are off the air? I havent picked them up in a few days here in Springfield.

If I programmed an Oldies/Classic Hits station, it would be very close to 88.5. The only difference, and I heard these back-to-back: I would play the album version (instead of the single) on songs like "Crimson and Clover" and "Lyin' Eyes". Anything that wasn't 8 minutes long!
I sure hope you guys restore full power soon!

My guess is that is was WAKY at 103.5. They use a lot of jingles (and re-mixes) from the glory days of the old WAKY 790.
The WAKY-WKLO battles were fun...I 'grew up' in Louisville during the best years of the battles.

Thanks D Dean. We're still on low power. The new part has been ordered but we still don't know when it's coming in. Today was my last show there, so I'm upset about that. You mention Travis, and Joe Mac, well you also have some of the nicest folks I've ever met, Uncle Pepe, DJ Tim, and Justin, Vixen, Tom Depp, Phil Tucker, and others. I love that station so much, and it's gonna be hard to leave and go to MTSU. If you've listened to me, I was the country dj there, but it opened my eyes to great oldies. Jay and the Americans, Hollies, Eagles, Roy Head, CCR, they just don't make em' like they used to. Boss man has a lot on his shoulders, Holly Nimmo was our Operations Supervisor, well someone who doesn't know jack **** about radio decided that that position could be cut and made part time, THANK YOU SO MUCH WHOEVER DID THAT YOU JACK***!!! You have people who don't know **** about radio trying to call the shots, hell, cut some of those damn public affairs programs we have to have.
