It's got to be New Waverly given your descriptions, guys. It didn't run an ID while I sat on the frequency but it was certainly a ministry that sounded a lot like the programming offered on KZHO 38. Odd, I've never picked this up before, or I just never paid any attention to it. 94.9 is still there this morning with the dead carrier, but it is not KHTZ. Too weak, more the signal strength of a small translator. I lost it around Airtex and North Freeway this morning. It's clear enough to lock in the stereo light but has static as I drove around this morning running errands on the northside. South of 8, it is gone.
