92.1 Stunting Now

Shouldn't this station be in Chicago? Perhaps they could intersperse the song " Here we go loop de loop" by Johnny Thunder with their programing.

Ha ha! That would be great. I don't live in Sacramento, but still, in any market, a loop for several weeks is too much.

So I listened to the loop this morning for grins and realized the content is no longer accurate.

"Only a radio station would pick the middle of summer to move"

We're at the end of summer, starting Fall next week. :) Just Sayin'

This stunting reminds me of a lyric variation of The Motels song "Suddenly Last Summer"( One loop never ends , some format never beguins)

I know it's illegal but I thought about encoding it live and streaming it on the web for us. :)

I also couldn't help but notice that the RDS on 92.1 still shows up as "K-HITS." It is interesting that they haven't updated the RDS encoder accordingly such as putting "go to 101.5" or something along those lines.

I hadn't noticed the RDS encoder. Sounds like someone overlooked it.

How many RDS radios do you think are out there? 10-20% or higher?

Hey - the loop is gone & it sounds like classic hits. I had to wait for the TOH ID to be sure, but I heard John Mellencamp, & Steve Miller. No more "khits has moved".

Dave B.

I'm in utter and complete shock. Why do I care? I have no idea.

I can confirm reception of KMJE and it sounds like Classic Hits / Classic Rock.

Did you hear a liner or imaging?

I wait with baited breath. I'm voting for Monday morning as well. :)

I just heard a DJ say "A lot going on guys, what's happening?" followed by an ID.

It sounded like an engineer, not what you'd expect to hear from a voice talent. More power to whoever it was, everyone needs a moment of fame. :)

I think it's fair to say they're officially stunting.

Songs about rock and roll followed by liners saying "What's Happening" / "What's Going On".

Songs Heard: Old Time Rock and Roll, R.O.C.K. in the U.S.A, Rock and Roll Band (love that song), We Will Rock You, etc, etc, etc... Wonder what the new format will be? :)

Another classic rock station, with 400 songs?
