92.3 amp radio?

Is KTU Scared? They just added commercial free weekends after Amp debuted it this weekend… how much is that going to cost them in revenue?

I am pulling for AMP Radio as I do think there's a niche in the market place for them and with the right mix of CHR/EDM/Hip, Hop and new local music they could develop a strong following but then again I thought 92.3 NOW would have been more successful too. I will say that AMP's delivery sounds robotic at the moment. They've added some listeners voices between songs boasting about their commercial free weekends, etc. Yesterday I heard them asking for listeners to let them know what they were doing over Memorial Day Weekend? Really?
I would think they'd be more prepared if they want to make a splash in the market. I trust we'll find better delivery in time.

Audio on the AMP stream still sucks. And it sounds like they have no processing between it at the moment. Unlistenable!

The solicited for listeners was weak I agree. Better planning all the way around would have been prudent. CBS is the midst of a sh!t show on 92.3 - over saturation in the market and not owning one specific thing can really hurt a station. Ty is headed out west for mornings in Seattle from what we have heard. No word on if or when CBS will bring in talent. Maybe they don't at all....a CHR like a Jack or Bob?
