They've got a van?? Good for them!! I've always had the gut feeling that Hall really has invested more into this format than most other companies want to invest in a fledging format. Good for them. Contests. Promotions. Giveaways. Call-ins. Concerts. That's what running a smooth jazz station is all about.

Too many small market smooth jazz stations do nothing but put on satellite smooth jazz tunes, never promote it, and then flip formats a year later when the ratings get a 0.0.

WSJW doesn't get stellar ratings, but they're more solid than the other formats on the station in the past. They've got a marginal signal at best, so what they get ain't bad at all. They have filled a nice little hole.

It looks like they hit a cow
Maybe they swerved to miss a "Dairy Farmer"

Dang. Maybe the cow didn't like George Benson and Kenny G.

Seriously, sorry to hear that. Hope they had good insurance, or they may have to flip the format to pay the bill. And then elevator_opratr would go into a state of serious depression. LOL

The Jazz van was involved in a chain reaction accident (not the Jazz van driver's fault) It was a nice van with a great looking wrap on it. Obviously the insurer of the driver who rear-ended it will be paying.

Hope they'll be getting another van. It's nice to see a smooth jazz station with a community presence like that.
