94.7 Updates

We'll all just wait and see. 30 minutes left from this post. Now oldies. Last time we'll hear polka and the other formats not presented in NY (the 77 WABC, etc) maybe the last time I'll hear Smooth Jazz in New York!

HD says WRXP-FM New York with the RDS saying "LISTEN MONDAY AT 9:47AM". The TOH is never at the top of the hour because the loop is about 1 hr 20 min long and it is repeated twice in there.

Again, it is wait and see. E.G. when WJJZ became Now 97.5 WNUW (now WPEN sports), it took from the launch on 9/8 to the 13th to change from WJJZ to WNUW. Same probably here. NashFM947.com is still a solid black page.

I'm guessing by the time everything is settled, it would land around the Top 40 or Smooth Jazz stunt.

One thing that should be noted about these stunts with GM in Boston and now with Cumulus,is that radio still can be exciting and done well when the effort is put in it. Do you hear us corporate? ;)

Never heard of Weird Al Yankovic until the stunt. He is now on it. Maybe around the R&B and hip hop stunt is when it will stop.

Yep, country will maybe be seen permenantly in 13 minutes! Smooth Jazz is where it may stop. One second of no audio in a song, strange.
