940 EVEN WITH 610 IN AM DRIVE?

Irony of ironies. I hear Charles in Charge is now trying to woo DeFede back to WIOD to be the "liberal" half of a right-left team. Wow.
 
No chance no way to Defede. He didn't work before and Charles in Charge has too much riding on WIOD. It'll be news in the morning and sportsdotcom is probably right although they better know the area.
 
It seems obvious from this thread that WINZ is being dismantled to put more salaries on WIOD. "Hey, 940, you were supposed to be a flanker and instead you got some numbers and showed up the big boy! You'll pay for that!"

While I'm for more local on any talker these days, this is like tearing down the support beams to keep the fireplace fed. Between Imus and Phil Hendrie, 940 also seems to be off on a new approach... "liberal" talk that isn't...
