The show, Coast To Coast AM is still on the air from 10p-2a pacific, but is now hosted by George Noory. Art Bell is semi-retired, and hosts Coast To Coast pretty much when he feels like it on weekends, alternating with Ian Punnett. Always a treat when Art pops on.
The towers you see are actually at Bell's house, and they are not AM towers, they are (if memory serves) part of his (very extensive) antenna array for his CB. He used to have pics of the antenna array on his website when he regularly hosted C2C.
KNYE is an FM outlet in Pahrump, NV run by Bell himself. It is an Adult Contemporary-Oldies-Classic Rock station...a true variety station, let's say. I heard it this past summer on a drive from Reno to Las Vegas - sounded good and put out a surprisingly good singal considering it is a class A FM. It runs C2C at night, as it should
More likely than not, the studio you saw was the one at his house, not at his FM radio station. He used that home studio to broadcast C2C, and still uses it when he feels like doing his occasional shows. Based in that same studio is his CB station which utilizes the extensive antenna array.
