Yep... when you have the entire staff working together you could get a lot done. We shunned the "wilt" image that the station had before we arrived in 1977. we had some great people onboard Ray Reich ( co owner with Randy Jay)Jack Wienline , myself and others in sales, Gene Stabile, Mary Lou Jones Dave Gossttte and Paul Gianamore to name a few on air. We had the Positron jingle package and yes we ran reverb. we really tried to make a run at WEIR but being a daytimer was our acilease heal. However clients bought us because they saw us on a regular basis and we brought ideas! As I recall back then WKEG was also doing a bang up job I heard rumors they were hitting $30k a month. Sad that these stations have fallen by the wayside. Also I have been told that Scott Paulsen got his start at 950 when Capitol Broadcasting put WLIT on in 1972.
