I'm part of this urban crowd that digs Hot 96.9 more than Jam'n mostly because it is what it says it is a rhythm and all the best throwback station. I'm saying that rather than play these hip hop heavy throwbacks try more, K-Ci and JoJo, Mark Morrison, Sade, Bell Biv Devoe, Blackstreet, Next, Aaliyah, Rob Base and less of the heavy stuff. Also they should just drop anything post-2007 and keep it in between ~1987 and 2007 Just be a recurrent urban smooth RnB/Hip Hop 80s 90s and 2000s station. The non Hip Hop and RnB tracks are already being scaled back and they seem awkward as it is, just take them out I say. Theyre alo INCREDIBLY FEMALE ORIENTED i see they have a "Men Madness" Tournament up on their website and shirtless photos of Ne-Yo...they have zero interest in male listeners it seems....
