97.5 The Fanatic "Major Station Announcement"

Sixers have been getting bumped to WOGL when the Flyers have been on 610 and the Phillies have been on 94.1 and 1210. I would have thought when all 3 were playing, the Phillies would only be on one station, not 2. Will the Sixers be on WPEN-AM and FM or does GM have other programming on 950 while the Sixers are on 97.5? (I still always want to say 97.5 'PST).

My understanding is the Phillies have a clause that they can't be bumped off FM, except for the eagles, and thats because the eagles have the same clause, and it predates the Phillies. My guess is during Eagles games 98.1 will broadcast Phillies games.

From what I heard from the sixers GM/Owner/whatever it sounds like they have a similar clause with PEN, cause he made it a point to say all games would be on FM, and some would be simulcasted on AM. So the Flyers are out of luck if they want exclusive FM rights with either of the sport stations.

Doubt the Flyers will leave WIP. They are no longer co-owned, and if they went to the Fanatic there would be constant conflicts with the Sixers.
