Haven't heard much 2000s other than "The Middle" by JEW (only one I remember), but have heard a lot more 90s rock lately (which is a plus). I think I've heard "Rolling In The Deep" once, but that's all.
Like I've said, I enjoy the older songs/70s/80s/90s. Nothing slow, or at least that stuff's only played rarely.
I mainly listen to MY only at night now when I do. The slowness with adds is just too irritating. The stuff they play at night is awfully rhythmic at times, I agree - LMFAO, David Guetta, Usher, Black Eyed Peas, Travie McCoy, Gym Class Heroes, etc
I think Chuck will stick around. Good to hear them running commercials now.
Yeah, maybe it is just the times I'm listening. Still think they're emphasis by far now is on the 80s, where at the beginning it seemed to be more focused on the 70s. I also am hearing more "new wave/punk" from the 80s as opposed to just things pop like Madonna and the more classic rock songs like Tom Petty. Heard the Ramones, Joe Jackson and Echo and the Bunnymen this afternoon as well as 90s era Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
Anyway, still doesn't seem like it's as older leaning as it was when it first started. And the 70s songs I do hear are usually something I like -- The Who or just something off the wall.
