I was flipping through stations and my stereo stopped on 97.7. I discovered that it was carrying 104.3. Looks like Ramar got a translator on 97.7 since 104.3 can be spotty in some parts of town?
Agree with you 110%. 104.3 can be spotty in some parts of town, but more than listenable. This kind of reminds me how K Love and Air 1 hog all the open frequencies in other markets (not so much out here but in places like Austin/San Antonio).greenbastard said:Does Double T really need a translator? I know they are somewhat of a rimshot, but I doubt they get beat bad enough during tropo openings to warrant a translator.
Any updates on what is going on with 97.7 as of late?

It looks like 97.7 is officially on the air...with scrolling RDS too!
I find it very odd, however, that it is carrying Double T 104.3. I know 104.3 can be spotty in some parts of town but it is more than listenable. Sticking it on 97.7 seems like a waste of frequency to me. Kind of reminds me of K Love and Air 1 hogging all the frequencies in other markets.
Yes. Double T comes from Ramar Communications.Jimc said:Is this Ramar? They're supposedly havea new station on the air soon?
