Wonder if WLIB’s ratings have gone up with you all checking 1190 every day?

On a few levels, obviously. You must be joking. Emmis doesn't subscribe.
That's just playing it safe. The transmitter may return at any time (within business hours of course. 😉)I've streamed this station a few times during the overnight hours when I can't sleep. I like a lot of the music. I think if I lived where I could pick this station up OTA I would give it a preset .
I also think it's hilarious that the legal ID mentions WLIB when they're off the air.
Speaking of WLIB, it is back on the air as of 11pm EST.Surely, there's an old FM tuner somewhere that can act as a "program feed" for WLIB
Is the modulation still low?Speaking of WLIB, it is back on the air as of 11pm EST.
It’s nothing to write home about. And bandwidth-limited to 5 kHz.Is the modulation still low?
Why didn’t Emmis simply keep the gospel music on WLIB, till the station is sold?
A DJ on 98.7? That's interesting. The station has been on autopilot since La Exitosa was launched on January 10. What made Emmis give a shift to a live female DJ?I heard an on air personality today for the first time on La Exitosa, during the midday hours. She was speaking mostly in Spanish, at one point mentioning the year that a song was released. But I haven't heard her give her name. Anyone know who she is?
Perhaps the addition of at least one host is an indication that the owner expects this format to be on for a while.
I still wonder when Emmis will start slashing its asking price
Under its amended articles of incorporation, Emmis has a three-year window to buy back its shares. In year one, Emmis would pay $6 per share, with that offer rising to $6.50 in year two, with the offer of $7.25 per share coming in year three.
I was listening today and I think she mentioned her name is Gloria.I heard an on air personality today for the first time on La Exitosa, during the midday hours. G-L-O-R-I-A, Gloria? This one?I was listening today and I think she mentioned her name is Gloria.
Might she be Gloria B, a former 93.1 WPAT jockey who was wiped from the station with no warning last year?I was listening today and I think she mentioned her name is Gloria.
