99.3 Kiss FM Switching?

You guys remember the old voice imaging from dance format from 1999 - 2002 I loved his voice a lot. Does anybody know his name? What a great dance station that was. Was a sad day when they flipped to urban. They should have stayed dance people were loving them. I only didn't like one thing of that station that was pitching up the music but a loved everything else on that station, was one of the best station in the country missed forever. Bring back the dance format. They definatly forcing hip hop on us. Money talks Being contravercial makes more money with hip hop. It doesn't matter to them that destroys society.

Bring back the dance format. Bring back the dance format. Bring back the dance format.

Bring back the dance format. Bring back the dance format. Bring back the dance format.

Let 99.3 have urban. 102.7 should've stayed dance, and they need to become dance like Wild, not how they are "considered" dance.

Here's the million dollar question....will they go back simulcasting on 105.5 and resurrect the WGBZ calls?

Nope! I think WSNQ Sunny will remain  at least for now.  Just like I don't think The Touch will be WDTH/WTTH anymore.

Anything is possible. Depends on how Gary's money looks.

BTW Did the Music change much when the name changed? To me it sounds about the same.

WZBZ (B105.5, The Buzz) – Atlantic City, NJ – 3/5/99 ---- Listen to this airchack. There is nothing like the original, I enjoy listening to the aircheck from 1999. The current buzz is okay if you only love rap and r&b, But the original buzz played much more music pop, hip hop, r&b, dance with less repetition, but I tune in sometimes on current buzz I like when the voice imaging guy says the buzz it remainds Me of the original buzz. It is uncommon of the stations to use the same name after they have changed format, does this mean that someday the dance format wil be back perhaps on 99.3 fm HD2? the buzz dance. If I owned the stations I would put the rhythmic format on 102.3 and rhythmic/dance back on 99.3 Does anybody know the name of the voice imaging guy from the original buzz from years 1999 - 2002 ?

It could be this guy. Sounds very similar.

I don't understand why anyone would listen to a jockless station? How did Kiss survive this long?

Your thoughts?

tophour wzbz year 2000 that is from january 2000 right after they moved to 99.3 fm that was very brief, and then few days later top hour imaging was changed to 99.3 and 105.5. That's not michael hanks these are two different person. I like this id top hour i remember this id very well i was suprised when they moved to 99.3 and was happy, I could hear them clear. But i'm still very curious who was the voice imaging guy from original buzz somebody has to know this, i been wondering all this years, i hear him on tv too sometimes. He sounds very good for radio. Can't stand this new imaging guy on current buzz. I remember when they used to call the buzz, the beat of South Jersey, South jersey dance music leader for short time and then, You feel good station 993 and 1055 the buzz, that was in late 2001 and then it was changed to your 10 in a row station that's when i started to worry i just felt it that major change was coming they started playing a lot more hip hop. In early February 2002 the new company took over equity comm... they seem very cheap you hear the same songs on their stations. I was suprised that M Comm... sold their stations, they were programing them very good. I have to thank Margate communication for bringing us a very good programmed dance chr station the buzz. A big thank you to the owner Don Brooks r.i.p., PG. D. Music D. Tead Noah, dj Shane Coyle, dj Kelly D. Vine, and dj Big Daddy Michael Ray r.i.p. and who ever worked on the station. God bless you. The buzz dance was a very special station to me all this years i never heard a station like the buzz dance with such a good staff and music, I don't know what else to say this is the first time that i did the special thank, didn't have a computer in 2002 to thank the people that worked on the station.

Let's not forget WKOE (Hot 106.3) that had its moment. Really sucks that Wild 102.7 was the only hope, and then Longport just HAD TO LAUNCH ANOTHER FAUQIN CHR THAT YOU GET ON 95.1, 99.3 (Kiss FM) 98.5 to an extent, and 104.9!!!

Yes I remember wkoe hot 106.3 they ran the format from may 2002 till january 2003 Ted Noah was PG director the same person from the buzz, it was a good station but the signal wasn't too strong in Atlantic City area. I don't know who owned hot 106.3 ? In regards to wwac wild 102.7 that was good station also, not ass good as the buzz dance. wwac wild 102.7 made fun of 95.1 owner when they signed on. I think that 95.1 owner may have something to do with all those dance stations being sold. We didn't need another top 40 station. wwac has such a narrow playlist now, and they are calling them self The new number 1 hit music station. I wouldn't be surprised if these stations are from same company with the different name.
