A little bit of added info...Chevis and Joe are no longer on the station...and as far as Fisher; he seems to never be there. It seems that he is splitting time with his producer, Larry...or it was for about 2 1/2 weeks in July. There are currently 3 board ops working for the station, and from what I have been told, they are still not being paid on a regular basis (but they are the only ones getting paid at all). According to the bankruptcy paperwork, the selling of the two frequencies will start at a minimum bid of 10MIL cash....and anyone with an eBay account is welcome to open. BUT, in the 10 MIL, that is supposed to include towers and a transmitter at the 700 site...but from what I am being told, there is nothing there but grass and dirt. I am one of those that stuck it out until 2 days before bankruptcy was filed...so I am about as optimistic as the previous poster.
As for the question about equipment up for sale...
email dated July 8, 2005 to all current and some former 990 staff members

Re: Missing Equipment
There are a number of pieces of equipment missing from our studios, offices, and tower site. The equipment is an asset of the bankruptcy estate and needs to be accounted for before the Court. Our attorney has suggested we provide a two (2) week amnesty period, with no questions asked, for the equipment to be returned to our offices. If you have the equipment in your possession, please return it. If you know the whereabouts of the equipment or have knowledge of who may have taken it, please let us know. A partial list of the missing equipment includes:
Mic Processors
Headsets
Speakers
Digital Camera
Cisco Telephones
Tower Site Testing Equipment
Portable Recorder
Thermal Labeling System
Mics & Mic Mounts
Equipment for remotes
After the 2 week period ending Friday, July 22nd, police reports will be filed and remedies will be sought with local authorities as well as in Federal Bankruptcy Court, including potential depositions and testimonies under oath.
This was an e-mail to many of former staff members thru personal e-mail accounts, not station e-mail accounts that were never disclosed to any other 990 staff.
So, what's gonna happen to FC Dallas after 990 falls? Where else will they go. According to the press release, they signed a 3 year deal...wonder if they're dying to get out of it. Kind of like North Dallas Bank. Apparently, they are now getting the money that they are owed as well...but don't want anything to do with Dave Schum (insert cheap shot here.)
______________
If you wanna know what's going on...e-mail someone else...
