I think UglyRedHonda got it with "Good Riddance" by Green Day.

"California" by Phantom Planet was the last song Steve Barnes played at 99X, coz he was moving there to be a big movie star. How's that going Barnes? This just in...I am being sued by Steve Barnes for that last sentence.

My first reaction was "Its The End of the World As We Know It" but since that song came out, what, five years before 99X even signed on I'll go with Nirvana's "All Apologies"
