Haven't been a big fan of music radio since I found the talk stuff in the late 80's. Plus, I think music died in the late 80's. I did tune into Steve Craig's 80's music show during lunch sitting in my truck in the cemetery.

[EDIT]
While the management of the Cloud Company hasn't shown itself to be particularly intelligent in the running of major market stations, it's doubtful that even they would consider intentionally devaluing a hundred plus million dollar property for some imagined 'revenge'. They believe that in the future they will get more money with this format than the past one. If it were properly done, they are probably correct. As to whether they are properly doing it, time will tell.

as a girl who was in the thick of things over at 99X during it's heyday, the recent changes are sad, but to be honest, the station died right about the time when the original Morning X was disbanded. That station was hot, edgy, take-no-prisoners, and just plain great. The Live X's were amazing. The Swingin' Velveeta Lounge was fun. The Pleasure Dome rocked. To me, it was radio at it's absolute best. I loved doing the remotes, hanging (dating) the jocks, working on commercials. Those years gave me the bug for doing voice over and for that, I'll always have a special place in my warm and fuzzy space for 99X. But for now, Sirius Lithium is where I get my 90's alternative. Which brings me to....how many more deep cuts by the Screaming Trees are there to play???
