I understand 93.3's installation requires a trip to the transmitter site to manually switch from stereo to mono, and depending on the weather, this can be problematic. Of course, it's not really a Houston station, regardless of what Univision believes otherwise.I expect Chuck can get an engineer to switch 100.7's backup to mono if he so desires. LOL maybe David can with 93.3, but not sure if he is too involved.
🤣 Marty said he is not going to do thatI understand 93.3's installation requires a trip to the transmitter site to manually switch from stereo to mono, and depending on the weather, this can be problematic.
Why am I not surprised.🤣 Marty said he is not going to do that
All of the O&O TUDN AM stations have been sold. I don't think Univision keeps the TUDN Radio Network around once the stations are completely transferred to the DNC's "Ministry of LatinX Information". Makes sense to avoid the drive to Devers if the format will be flipped sooner or later. Why am I not surprised.
KQBU is not part of the sale to LMN, only KLAT. Presumably TUDN will remain on 93.3 as long as Univision keeps the network going. All of the O&O TUDN AM stations have been sold. Univision will continue to program those stations for a minimum of 12 months after the closing. All of the O&O TUDN AM stations have been sold. That's exactly what I said.KQBU is not part of the sale to LMN, only KLAT. Presumably TUDN will remain on 93.3 as long as Univision keeps the network going.
Yes, it does. Unfortunately, only AM stations were part of the sale, which includes KLAT but not KQBU.All of the O&O TUDN AM stations have been sold. There are several FMs included in that sale, including the RGV, Las Vegas, Fresno, as well as rimshot KFZO in the DFW market. Remains to be seen what will ultimately be programmed on those stations.Yes, it does. Unfortunately, only AM stations were part of the sale, which includes KLAT but not KQBU.
But KQBU wasn't.There are several FMs included in that sale, including the RGV, Las Vegas, Fresno, as well as rimshot KFZO in the DFW market. Remains to be seen what will ultimately be programmed on those stations.
Where are you at, approximately? I have suspected that 93.3 is back on the Bertram tower recently, at least some of the time.KQBU and KKHT are currently off. I can get KGSR HD and KNAL on 93.3. And KASE on 100.7
I'm currently in Shenandoah. And KGSR is back on that tower. I was just in the Austin area for a few days.Where are you at, approximately? I have suspected that 93.3 is back on the Bertram tower recently, at least some of the time.
Also all the Las Vegas properties. The full markets that were sold are low revenue difficult markets. And the AMs had been for sale for quite a few years. There are several FMs included in that sale, including the RGV, Las Vegas, Fresno, as well as rimshot KFZO in the DFW market. Can you hear KNAL? I’m getting that with RDS nowI live On 45 North by Rankin and can’t hear either one
