A Glance At The Spring ARB:

I know I'm off the origional topic, but I forgot about WIBR. The signal is weak but audible in South Lafourche although haven't tried in Port Fourchon yet.

I will ask Jeremy if their is a station locally we would base his CHR on? I mean something in playlist like WFMF?
And will say, we can always leave the disco for Magic..they seem to be doing a good job in playing it...

B-97 is just way too cookie-cutter for me. Plus, someone made a comment on an earlier post about the station revolving around Stevie G. It's true! I'm not bashing, but when I was there I was not

That's just it! There is no local CHR station worth listening to. I'll listen to a weak one from anywhere else on the gulf coast, than have to put up with a CHR that's pretending to be one. Plus, someone made a comment on an earlier post about the station revolving around Stevie G. According to a friend of mine who works at a nearby Circuit City, they avoid putting the display radios on B-97 'cause of the same reasons: music repetition, crappy presentation, and more lame personalities than good ones.

WFMF seems too scared to play some of the crossover hip-hop and R&B. Too cookie-cutter, but I'd choose them over B.

I'd like to hear a station like Ft. Walton's Z-96, Dallas' Kiss FM, or Mobile's WABB or Hot 104 (WYOK), before Ivan blew their tower down. EVEN Alexandria's Q-93 when Ron Roberts had it! These stations have knowledgeable jocks that are having fun, the processing is tight, powerful up-to-date jingles, cool station voice, etc. Plus, they offer specialty shows that draw new interest everyday 'cause you never know what'cha gonna hear.

YES! Save the disco for Magic! I just can't understand what Andy Holt is trying to do. Don't get me wrong, I like the broader playlist, but they're playing more and more disco. Are they trying to compete with Diva?! 92.3 wouldn't be so bad if they'd save those 70's throwbacks for a specialty show, find a new moniker, and maybe a few other things.
