A HOT First Year and many more years to come .

WNYZ in New York broadcasts on 87.74. It sounds fuzzy on my portable HD radio which is very selective. I'm sure it sounds fuzzy on most good car radios.

Why does WPOT broadcast on 87.74 when it could just broadcast on 87.70. After all, it doesn't have a license so it can be on any frequency it wants.

I wonder which TV station sold them their transmitter.

HOT 87.7 THE BEST MUSIC STATION IN BOSTON !!!!!!!

I agree that they are the most energetic and entertaining station on the radio.

But they are a pirate and could be gone tomorrow.

keep trying to feel it, bt its just a 94.5

whats the point?

theres an XM chan with the same playlist, gotta be

I'm sorry RapKing, I can't take you serious. You have a closed mind and your posts need 3 separate spell-checking/grammar programs. Please consider turning the dial to some legal stations and hearing a variety of genres, promos, and air talent before you dismiss other stations as "garbage".

WJMN has a more pop/dance feel. Its geared more for Saugus/Revere people than Roxbury/Mattapan. That description is equal parts literal and metaphor.

The funny thing is that when Big City 101.3 got raided, Hot 97/87 were making jokes. It seems the pirates only compete with each other rather than with commercial stations.
