Like they're behind closed doors and Depetro says: "im going to call him a ****"..and Wolfe chimed in "No "f-*-g" researched better!

Gimme a break with the conspiracy theories!. These people are too busy actually DOING radio to sit around and hatch a knit wit plan like that, maybe if they had all day to sit on the internet and speculate the outcome might be different!

you are looking at Depetro's 12+ ratings, where he and Scott do okay. Those are reassuring, but aren't career building. Their younger demos, which everyone cares about, are mediocre at best.
 
Wrong, Wrong, Wrong! how many times have I said that NOBODY looks at 12+ numbers?.......... Listen up!..... I am looking at Men 25-54, and persons 25-54 not to mention men 18+. where he is up substantially in all three. WRKO is not looking at "younger demos" especially not in that daypart, they are a 25-54 station, period. No other demos matter to that format end of discussion.. Look I think Depetro sucks but Im just pointing out what the Arbitron god's say.
 
No offense Nik but if his numbers are dramatically up, he's not a hack, by definition. You may dislike his style but getting ratings sort of brings you out of the hack designation. Doesn't it??
 
No offense taken Intercom. The point being I think he's a complete hack, bad show and obviously not that smart to have gotten himself into this controversy, that is my OPINION. However I acknowledge that his numbers in those two key demos that i cited have gone up, is he doing well? not really yet but his ratings definately are not "tanking" as had been posted earlier. Here's the thing Im not a fan but I acknowledge that he's going in the right direction in terms of his numbers. Will he ever be a phenom in Boston? doubtful but mid day shows in talk radio rarely are with the exception of Rush, look at Oreilly he's not setting any fires either. So that's my opinion based on hearing the show yet I acknowledge that my opinion does not overshadow the facts. By the way dont be fooled, plenty of 'hacks" out there get numbers, depends on the format, if you're a chr jock or most music jocks for that matter you can be a hack as long as you've got a great PD, MD and good logs you will probably still get numbers.
