A to Z's Have It

Actually, that song's title is just "Never Be Anyone Else But You." But if we're going to start stretching the rules, allow me to submit this one:

"There You Go and Baby Here Am I, Well You Left Me Here So I Could Sit and Cry, Golly Gee What Have You Done to Me, Well I Guess It Doesn't Matter Anymore" -- Buddy Holly ;D

If we want to be precise, the Bobby Vinton song, which was a remake of a 1945 number-one hit by Vaughn Monroe, was There! I've Said It Again. When we wrap up this thread, we should start a thread devoted to song titles with exclamation points, such as Pee Wee Hunt's Oh!, the Beatles' Help! and Peggy Lee's Caramba! It's The Samba.

Having gone back a few pages, I have discovered that we have left out any "Tell" songs:

Tell Her About It - Billy Joel
Tell Her No - The Zombies
Tell Her No - Juice Newton
Tell Him - The Exciters
Tell Him No - Bob and Travis
Tell It All Brother - Kenny Rogers & The First Edition
Tell It Like It Is - Aaron Neville
Tell It To The Rain - Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons
Tell Mama - Etta James
Tell Me Something Good - Rufus
Tell Me Why - The Belmonts
Telstar - The Tornadoes

Tell Her She's Lovely -- El Chicano
Tell It to My Heart -- Taylor Dayne
Tell Laura I Love Her -- Ray Peterson
Tell Me Why -- Beatles
Tell Me Why -- Wynonna

Back to Th- ...

Thick as a Brick -- Jethro Tull
Think -- Aretha Franklin
Thinkin' of You -- Loggins & Messina
This Ain't My First Rodeo -- Vern Gosdin
This Boy -- Beatles
This Door Swings Both Ways -- Herman's Hermits
This Girl's in Love With You -- Dionne Warwick
This Guy's in Love With You -- Herb Albert
This Is a Love Song -- Bill Anderson
This Is It -- Kenny Loggins
This Is My Song -- Petula Clark
This Magic Moment -- Jay & the Americans
This Song -- George Harrison
This Wheel's on Fire -- Bob Dylan; The Band; Julie Driscoll, Brian Auger & the Trinity

We've had This Boy, This Kiss, This Song and This Time. So this time (ain't that cute?) I have some more two-word "This" titles:

This Christmas - Temptations
This City - Escape Club
This Day - Jennifer Holliday
This Eye - Edie Brickell
This Girl - Slade
This Heart - Natalie Cole
This Here - Ray Charles
This House - Diana Ross
This Night - Toys
This Time - Waylon Jennings

"This old man, he played three; he played knick-knack on my knee....." Instead of giving you a "paddywack," I'll give you some more songs beginning with "This Old":

This Old Guitar - John Denver
This Old Heart - James Brown
This Old Heart Of Mine - Tammi Terrell
This Old House - Rosemary Clooney
This Old Town - Buddy Paul
This Old Town - Wilson Pickett
This Old World's Too Funky For Me - Crusaders

One of the many artists who recorded This Old Man, which I quoted from, was Bob Dylan! Yes, really! His version was on Disney's 1991 CD For Our Children.

Three Times a Lady -- Lionel Richie
The Thrill Is Gone -- B.B. King
Thriller -- Michael Jackson
Through the Years -- Kenny Rogers
Throwing It All Away -- Genesis
