Inconvenient reality: WSMV's morning show has been in a tailspin for quite some time. They haven't beaten 5's ratings in years. In the most recent ratings, some days they were passed by Channel 2 and were in 3rd place. And Aaron wasn't fired, he quit when they offered to let him go back to sports at the same pay he was making in news. His response then was, "I'm better than that." Guess a few months on the porch in Leiper's Fork changed his opinion. Can't wait to see how he likes working for Cromwell. This should be fun.
People saying they love him on facebook is one thing. People actually listening and getting rated is another thing.
And has he ever done a talk show? For 3 or 4 hours everyday? Don't think so. Not sure he realizes there's no teleprompter.
