AC Format in Milwaukee

With the sale of WLDB and WLUM to K-Love, do we see any stations in Milwaukee that could fill the Adult Contemporary void?

WRIT-FM and WMYX seem like potential candidates.

The stations you mentioned may do some adjusting to their playlists, but these days it costs too much to start a new format from scratch unless a station is really billing terribly. And the remaining group operators seem to be content with what they're doing, at least on the surface. But anything is possible.

WRIT is one of the top-rated stations in the market, often #1. And they play a lot of the same 80s-90s songs as B93.3. They're changing absolutely nothing, but do plan on going all-Christmas this year, after sitting it out in recent years.

WMYX does well, but could move a little more in that direction. They often sound like where listeners to their sister station, KISS-FM, go when they turn 30.
