ACE & TJ No Longer on 96.1

Looks like “Colt” (out of market) has been placed in the morning slot on 96.1 for now.

It is September 9, 2021.
And there is no mention on their website that a new morning show is coming into town.
Fact check on me if you will :)

I’d give it a few more weeks at least for an announcement.
Have they made a decision yet regarding a new morning show on 96.1? I still don't quite understand why Ace and TJ were dropped after a long successful run on both 95.1 and most recently 96.1. Looks like they would seek another outlet in their home town market.

I believe Ace and TJ are doing some type of one minute cut ins during morning on WXRC FM the Ride. WKQC picked up Bob and Sherri from the Link, and the Link moved the PM drive show to mornings. Country stations are live and local in mornings, Fox has John Boy and Billy, the End has Woody and Wilcox not sure what station is left in the market.

Well I miss listening to Bob and Sheri in the morning when I drive home from work in Greenville into Spartanburg County. Not a trace of the K-104.7 signal, unlike 107.9 despite some local interference closer to Greenville. I wish Bob and Sheri had an Upstate affiliate in SC, since they used to be heard on 107.9. They even picked up Ace and TJ on a low power translator station here, and John Boy and Billy are still on Rock 101, which adopted the WROQ call letters from Charlotte.
