Yay a new Adult CHR station just like I94 in Indianapolis for ya. the Praise think was a smoke screen
CHRles said:107.5 The River has the clearest signal of the bunch, and the best processing of the three stations. The music mix is spot on for a CHR/Pop station in a city like Nashville, and it's got some good personalities on the air.
So ultimately I-106 and 102.5 The Party will now be duking it out for Nashville's second favorite CHR.

That makes a bit more sense to put the Pop on the bigger signal. More level playing field.

Makes sense from one angle, but it's on 106.7 because of the proximity to 107.5. They're after listeners who think they've tuned in or scanned to the River... but omg, it's this great new station, like totally.
Regardless, I still miss Buddy Sadler. And, hell yes, CR, I have looked at the yellow pages under radio stations since I was a teenager...they were on stone tablets then.
Okay, but does anyone (especially teenagers) still use a radio with an analog dial? They might as well have called themselves I-107! ;D Seems like they called themselves "106" back during their 15 minutes as "Rooster." Maybe they were going after 105.9 at the time? ???jetfli said:Makes sense from one angle, but it's on 106.7 because of the proximity to 107.5.
