Thou I don't usually listen to B 95.1 I'm against removing the Steve and Dc show I do listen to that.I've been listening to these guys for years and their currently not on Xm yet so I can't hear them unless I listen to them on 95.1.
WPEZ Program Director grinding his teeth all hours of the day and night... dentist thrilled (new Mercedes)
I was thinking more of taking a cue from another station in town which shall remain nameless (think "fuzzy fruit") and flip on Halloween... or maybe every other song could be a Halloween song for that day. How's this for a sweep:
Bing Crosby - White Christmas
Bobby "Boris"Pickett - Monster Mash/Monster's Holiday Medley
Wham! Last Christmas
Warren Zevon - Werewolves Of London
Nat "King" Cole - The Christmas Song (Chestnuts)
David Seville - The Witch Doctor
Mormon Tabernacle Choir - The Little Drummer Boy (Rum...Rum...Rum...Rum - one of Bill Elder's all-time favorites)
How is the Clear Channel 96.5 doing? It's the FM I listen to the most. If they'd ditch the disco and anything past 1977 they might do better. Not that I'm not open to some Eighties stuff but cool it with the 1978-80 bubble.
Then again FM entertainment radio might be going the way of Jack Benny and Ma Perkins- flusssssh.
