Adult Swim

Props To Adult Swim

Might be a little off-topic, but I just thought I'd prop Turner for adequately promoting Adult Swim in print - for example, ads on buses for shows like Aqua Teen would promote "on Adult Swim". Which doesn't directly tell less-than-clever kids that AS is actually Cartoon Network. And in an age of decency, that was a smart way to promote their product in public without causing an uproar.<P ID="signature">______________

I kind of thought this would happen sooner or later, but I figured if Adult Swim would pick up a live action show it would be "Mr. Show with Bob & David." That's just going by TBS's attempt at somewhat of an Adult Swim line-up on Friday nights with their "Too Funny to Sleep" line-up. "Saved by the Bell" has merit as a guilty pleasure 90s teen comedy series, which fits perfectly with the Adult Swim demo, but like everyone else, I agree that if they were going to pick up a live-action show, they could have done a lot better than SBTB. On the other hand, it could have been worse..."California Dreams" anyone?

That would be the perfect segue from the Family Guy episode where Peter morphed into Mrs. Garrett's bosoms.

"Girls, girls, girls!!" lol
