Hello,
I have received an AEV Exclusive FM ( Italian AEV/RVR design) 10 Multi-band processor from a radio station for calibration and alignment, since it was not performing correctly lately.
The radio station is currently running on a back-up processor, so the AEV processor can ban calibrated and aligned.
I was able to go well thru the multiband and AGC alignment.
The noticable point, I came across is, the limiting section of the AEV Processor, for example if the legal modulation limit (according to FCC rules) is 95 to 100%.
On the AEV, with some audio material (for example music) it would sometimes ' slip thru ' some high peaks that would go to 105 %
I would appreciate if there are users or engineers that can give an advice, about the limiting section of the AEV Exclusive Processor, in order to achieve that the processor would limit all audio material to 100%.
My e-mail adress is: [email protected]
Also it would be great if there are users that have the AEV Exclusive FM installed, to share with us their experiences about this processor.
Thank You.
