Streaming licenses don't cover OTA.

And the cancelled TV licensee does not have music licenses.

Also, legally, under former Texas law if a juvenile is found guilty its adjudication of delinquency, not a conviction.

This is how convicted felons operate. They either deny breaking the law when they are clearly doing so, or they claim they are justified in breaking the law because others are doing the same.

Surprisingly enough, the convicted felon in question is doing both simultaneously.

Wrong, Joe. Once again, you're lying. It quite clearly states that you were CONVICTED of TWELVE COUNTS OF ARSON. Convicted means you're convicted. Arson is a felony. A felon is someone who has committed a felony.

My only comment is that Joe is NOT the one who used prison language to insult me - somebody else on here used the term "butt hurt" while insulting me. It makes me wonder what sort of convicted felon I was communicating with on this board - that they would know that prison terminology. I only know it because somebody warned me only a convicted felon would know that term and therefore they may be a dangerous person. So I ceased all contact with them. I am not in the habit of associating with dangerous ex-cons who communicate in prison language.

LOL, Bruce that gave me a good chuckle. "Butt hurt" is definitely NOT a prison term and is a pretty commonplace word today among most folks under 35 or 40. The biggest users however are probably in their mid 20s or younger.

Maybe so, David, but you have to look at where the term came from in the first place. It comes from prison, according to a friend who has good reason to know. Along with the trend of having pants low, exposing underwear, and the jokes about not dropping soap in the shower (which was very inappropriate on Spongebob Squarepants cartoon for children). For that matter, the term "nitty-gritty" that people use all the time has its origin in slave ships, which had to be cleaned on arrival, so the owners had to "get down to the nitty-gritty". It is best to avoid ALL such terms and behavior, whether or not the origins are understood. They are offensive. Slang used to insult somebody is never appropriate, especially in a professional setting. In fact, insulting someone for any reason is always inappropriate. It is far better to keep one's opinions about another person's relative worth to one's self. We all should be keenly aware of the dangers of words today, when words of hate inspired a person to kill 50 people.

We'll see. I have been listening occasionally to 87.9, and the only thing I hear is some low-level splatter from the first adjacent. No Joe.

Now, whether of not his tower was hit by a lightening strike is debatable. We only have Joe's word for it, and he lies like a convicted felon, which (according to him, he's not). I -do- know that the Commission regularly stages enforcement actions when the violators least suspect it, and there's absolutely no question Joe is a pirate broadcaster.

What I'm interested to see is whether Pirate Joe lights up FM Channel 200 once again.

Obviously, you are not in Texas. For half a decade now Alex Jones has covered Austin with a powerful 1 kW station.

The FCC investigation found a transmitter in the 300 watt range, feeding an antenna at about 100 feet above ground.

It could be heard "around the downtown area". Hardly in the Caroline and Veronica class.
