THAT from?
Fox News
Maybe not as liberal as, say, MSMBC, but they're certainly not Fox News.
Never said they were. All I said is CNN tends to
LEAN Conservative (Note the emphasis above & the keyword of
LEAN)

In order to know what objective or unbiased is, you need to know where the center is. I'm afraid the legacy media*, including CNN, lost touch with this a long time ago. What they view as the center is skewed in one direction, and that direction is not to the right. Their reporters, anchors, writers, editors, etc. eat, sleep and socialize primarily in New York City, Washington, DC and Los Angeles,[/quote]So you're saying political bias is judged by
GEOGRAPHY now eh? Peachy :
and they, like most other thoroughly unremarkable people, stay close to the herd, physically and ideologically.
Only on Fox News & (Yes as much as I hate to admit it) MSNBC !! CNN OTOH tries to stick more with
FACTS !!! Does that mean they always get it right?
NO !!! They make their fair share of mistakes. CNN's bias just isn't as obvious as that of Fox News & MSNBC
Of course, when confronted in public with this, most are quick to turn righteously indignant and dismiss their accusers of being pathetic wing nuts.
Of course. Ever watched Fox News lately? They're
LOADED with "Wing Nuts". Likewise MSNBC is equally loaded with those who like to call their Fox News counterparts "Nuts". That's because
THEY ARE PAID to do that. The ones on Fox News are not only paid to call their MSNBC counterparts "Nuts",
THEY ARE NUTTY THEMSELVES !!!
Notice, though, how all Soviet things get whenever one of their ranks, such as Bernard Goldberg or John Stossel, split from the ideological herd - they disappear quickly, airbrushed out of photos and quickly forgotten. The penalty for "wrongthink" is banishment. Maybe operations such as MSNBC are, in a perverse way, refreshing - at least they don't try to hide their agenda under a thin, pretend veneer of objectivity.
Those who spend an equal amount of time on the big Peacock network as they do on MSNBC aren't banished but their shows on MSNBC aren't exactly placed in primetime slots either
Getting back to the subject at hand, here's where I think the Current (No pun intended) herd will head to.....
Bill Press Back to pre-Current days
Stephanie Miller iHeartRadio (I don't see her doing the UStream thing again)
Cenk Uygur MSNBC Contributor & Fill-In/Weekend Host
Ana Kasparian MSNBC Contributor & Fill-In/Weekend Host
Eliot Spitzer MSNBC Contributor & Fill-In/Weekend Host (Unless he decides to run for public office again)
Jennifer Granholm MSNBC Contributor & Fill-In/Weekend Host
Jackie Schechner NBC/MSNBC anchor (She's the news gal on Current during the
Stephanie Miller & most of the day)
Lisa Ferguson NBC/MSNBC anchor (She's the news gal on Current during the
Bill Press show)
Of course
The Young Turks will still do their thing but that will only be an online thing as it was before they appeared on Current
JMO.....
Cheers & 73 ;D
