Albany Programmers

Okay, I was trying to get my answer in a roundabout (fragile) way. Specifically, what do you think about 94.5 The One? Edworm, care to comment? Eddie?

Willobee at EQX seems to have given the station some life, as well as the highest ratings since John Allers programmed in the late 90's. They were in the mid 2's in Albany at that point.

Don't recall Tim Bronson having ratings success for WEQX, but EQX has had some great PD's, like McGuinn, Allers, and Gary Schoenwetter...and now Willobee seems to be having a good run.

I haven't heard EQX under their current PD, but when I lived in NYC in the '99, I used to hear EQX on weekend trips to Stratton and Allers definitely had the station sounding strong, while still nodding to EQX's long heritage.

John Foxx was the best PD that Fly ever had? HHHHaaaaaaaa!!!!!! Yeah-Right! That station went down when he took over. He was the one who led that station to the hole that they're in. That's "YO-BRO!" for ya! Just ask ROKSTAR! He'll tell ya!!(lol)
