You all are kidding, right? You actually watch the fox 10 morning show willingly, without the threat of being waterboarded? Those people are morons, a real live "Idiocracy" on television every morning. Ron Hoon makes Ron Burgundy look like a five time Jeopardy champion. The Hooner (great nickname, it just exudes smart) not only has no idea what he is talking about but he feels the need to interject an un-ironic non-sequiter into every other sentence so that he somehow will project an air of authority. I really thought this show was aimed at the under 60 I.Q. set and the comatose, so to see that it actually has sentient viewers is stunning to me. How can you people watch this drivel?

So anyway, back to the subject at hand, Alexis has landed a job in San Diego working for KUSI where she will be the weekend morning anchor and weekday morning reporter. It must be nice to tire of working somewhere after four years and be able to move to a new place when you feel like it. Of course she is probably still getting money from her ex husband so she has the money.

It was intended to be a comment on the reporter's appearance which, if I am not mistaken, is one of the primary reasons people get hired in TV. You would think the station would trot out her first appearance more carefully. I notice, BTW, her makeup has been toned down significantly as of Monday morning so maybe my comment did reach someone appropriate. I did not attack her personally nor did I attack the station or the producers of the Morning Show.
I did apparently offend her self/boyfriend/husband/S.O./interested bystander who responded with an inappropriate attack. He/she/it knows what his/her/its' comments were worth and I will not respond to him/her/it again.

And BTW, don't TV 'journalists' generally move quite frequently in the normal course of their careers anyway? Better to pick your next location than have it decided for you I would think.

Exactly the point I was trying to make. So, why get so upset over a first timers' remarks -- particularly when one has just likened whoever does Kristin's makeup to a clown???
Back to Alexis, we have assumed here that it was Alexis' choice to not renew her contract. I understand that was her public stance, but it still begs the issue. A weekend morning anchor position in San Diego doesn't sound all that appealing to me...despite the appeal of the city itself.
Hey, how about a little reading comprehension here. I'm the first timer (now that I check this is my 3rd post!) and never said a word about clown makeup. Let's at least get that straight.
As for landtuna, I know you cannot ignore me, you are way too much of a narcissist. You actually think your comments have some some sort of resonance with the fox 10 crew. That's why you are reading this right now even after putting me on *ignore*. So let's finish the conversation. Tell me how my opinion of the morning show crew is wrong.
Would you like an example? Rick D'Amico felt the need this morning to explain how a bungee jumper actually went down, then up and then DOWN again! WOW!!!!!
Fair enough if you have been in a coma for the last thirty years and had no idea what bungee jumping was (obviously the target demo for fox 10) but he insisted on laughing about it the whole time as if he had just discovered something funny. No, nothing funny about it. It was just a news story.

She will be joining fellow PHX News Alums Heather Moore and Brad Perry @ KUSI as well as possibly running into Ross from Channel 3 now at FOX 5 San Diego.
And yes I agree and want to echo your comment news anchors/people whatever you wanna call em (news readers), are mostly vagabonds. You hit that on the head. I think a lucky few are able to find a place and make it there home.
Pretty sure Heather Moore has left KUSI. She hasn't been on-air in quite some time.
