i keep looking at the K Love website an the only 94.1 is see in Tennessee is for Morristown. I do see that 102.5 Buffalo is showing up on the station list. Where is the K Love station list that shows 94.1 Memphis.KLove’s station finder has been updated to include 94.1.
Thanks so not on the list by state yet but on this. I did not even try that one.
So George Strait, Geroge Jones, Merle Haggard, Alan Jackson, The Judds, Glen Campbell and Conway Twitty?I'm listening via the Audacy player right now and right underneath the station logo and the "live" button it says "Memphis' New Country. WLFP-FM is spinning the best Country music, live from Memphis." So there you go. It's not only playing good country music; it's playing the best!
Is anyone recording this for the rest of us?Right now, theyve got a recorded announcer over the WMC-FM livestream feed redirecting everyone to 99.7, IDing as WLFP FM and WLFP HD1.... Over WLFPs livestream its business as usual as 99.7 the wolf..this is interesting.
I wasn't in that "we" and still am not.Sadly most of “us” weren’t still in the demo for FM100. Remember when all those easy listening stations changed in the 80s? Back then, “we” didn’t listen to elevator music and were glad to see sleepy muzak disappear and something better and semi-contemporary take over the radio station for old people.

What SDR are you using to catch FM in Memphis, and do they have a web link? Thanks.
I recorded the announcement before posting that, it'll probably be up on youtube shortly. Is anyone recording this for the rest of us?

No posters in this Memphis forum actually live near Memphis? Or are there many, but they don't have radios anymore? So what's what's on 94.9?
Also K-Love.So what's what's on 94.9?
Well, since the programming no longer originates from Memphis, why do we, as listeners, need to live in or near Memphis, either? No posters in this Memphis forum actually live near Memphis? Or are there many, but they don't have radios anymore?

Just a guess, but I think that one or the other of 94.1 and 94.9 will become Air 1. That's what normally happens when EMF buys a second station in an area. Also K-Love.
Gotcha. My only connection is three years spent in Arkansas, listening to both Memphis and Little Rock radio a lot and being much more impressed and entertained by the talent working in Memphis at the time (1977-80). I only actually visited Memphis a couple of times, mostly because I was on my first job, as a one-man sports department for a small Arkansas newspaper, and had neither the money nor the spare time to explore Memphis' many attractions or go to concerts or sports events there -- although I did get to see Jerry Lawler wrestle at the Mid-South Coliseum!A fair amount of us seem to have ties to Memphis, but it doesn’t sound like many of us still live near there. When I went to college there, I got the impression Memphis was a great place to be from. I didn’t stay long, but, of the friends I made, staying in Memphis didn’t seem to be part of any of their plans.
