Summer is not prime weather for the All-News format. But most of the stations held steady, with KCBS San Francisco going up to #1 in San Francisco and rival KGO having its best numbers since switching to a mostly All-News format. Unfortunately the three newest All-News stations, KROI Houston, WYAY Atlanta and WNEW-FM Washington all lost a bit of ground in July.
