Daytimes here in NE PA it's Mexico (a weak WJUN Mexico Pennsylvania
Nighttimes it's Cleveland.
I'm far from Philly, so WPHT 1210 is not an issue. 1220 should be a ripe frequency for sunrise DX.
1220 has been a long, twisting journey since the Long Island DX days. Back then, there were fifty daytimers on 1220, and only four nighttime stations with any signal (Cleveland, Mexico City, New Brunswick and British Columbia).
Later there came more, of course, with the pre-sunrise authorizations and then the nighttime pittances and some Canadian upgrades. But a check of the log shows both stations from NY, both VA's, all four New England stations, three Canadians and (naturally
WJUN Mexico PA.
1220 was a pretty worthwhile twilight fishing hole there at one time. I was primarily an all-night DXer, far more than I was a SRS or SSS guy, so a frequency to provide that many catches through relative default must've been far more lucrative for those who listened around twilight.
