These next two weeks we visit two "graveyard" channels, First up 1230.
Far northwest suburban Chicago,,,,,
Days: A weak WCLO from Janesville, WI. About 50 miles to my northwest. WJOB from Hammond, IN underneath. About 65 miles to my southeast.
Nights: Typical graveyard channel slop. I'm a latecomer to GY channel DX, but I do enjoy it. My latest catch on 1230 was WSOO from Sault Ste. Marie, MI a few months back. Roughly 300 miles from my location.
Other Location: On the Arctic SDR this winter the Czech Republic station on 1233 was a nightly regular with a good signal. Easy to identify with music. I didn't know what it was until CADXER posted about it several weeks ago,
