From NW San Antonio:
Day: Nothing, but I have heard KEKR in Mexia, TX, a few times and KWEY in Weatherford, OK, once (both classic country) via daytime skywave.
Sunset: KEKR, KMIC “Radio Aleluya” in Houston, and KGAS “ESPN Radio” in Carthage, TX, all start to come up. Occasionally I’ll hear XEVOZ in Mexico City and KELP (Christian talk) in El Paso. When propagation is very good, KWEY will come up as well.
Night: Aiming E/W, I can hear KMIC fairly steadily. Aiming N/S, I can null it somewhat with KGAS popping up occasionally and KEKR coming up weakly and less often. Aiming NW/SE, I can hear KELP with a weak but usually readable signal.
Sunrise: It’s more of a mess with KEKR and KGAS stronger at times after going to day power. On a few occasions I’ve heard KVGB in Great Bend, KS, and XEVOZ. KMIC and KEKR are the last to fade.
DX/Retro: My one-time loggings include KDAE in Sinton, TX, KDAV in Lubbock, TX (currently silent), and KKAY in White Castle, LA.
