Far Northwest suburban Chicago....
Days: 1660 is usually blank. Sometimes WPRR from the Grand Rapids area sneaks in on daytime skywave. Not as common as other X band daytime skywave visitors for some reason. When WPRR DOES make an appearance during daylight hours, the signal is usually quite weak.
Nights: Normally all WPRR with a good signal.
Retro: The New Jersey 1660 was one of the first X band signals to sign on, and I did hear it a few times. Not recently, however. I've also heard the Kansas City 1660 a few times. But also not recently.
