AM Frequency of the Week - 670 kHz

What do you all get on 670 AM?

Here in Vermilion, OH it is a weak WSCR/Chicago during the day. Near sunset I recently logged WMTY/Farragut, TN with oldies music overtop of WSCR. Nights is mostly WSCR but R. Rebelde from Cuba can be heard by nulling them and when Aurora kicks in, Rebelde can dominate 670. Is WSCR using I-BLOCK again?

Where I am in the near north Chicago suburbs it's all WSCR night and day. Yes they are back with I-BLOCK and I can no longer listen for KNBR pre sunrise in the fall.

Kenosha, WI- local WSCR (which I still call WMAQ). I have heard SS WAY under it at night; probably Cuba, but have never ID'd.

Far northwest suburban Chicago: I'm about 25 miles from WSCR's blowtorch stick. In an area with good ground conductivity. Enough said! I'm still able to null it and snag WFAN on occasion, but this has become a much more difficult task with IBOC back on.

Boise

KBOI 15.7 miles away & 85 mV/m here.
Sill, can occasionally pull in Cuba, WSCR, and KLTT.

When KMZQ doesn't switch to their night DA & power, they
destroy KBOI outside of the 24 mV/m coverage area. They
do that anyway just after sunrise and just before sunset in LV.

In northern VA, I get a very weak WIEZ Lewistown, PA, and at nights it's WSCR combined with R. Rebelde. I guess CBS just loves HD.

Yes they do :-(

WSCR's iBLOCK spits and hisses from 640 to 700 (where it meets up with the iBLOCK of WLW). They make it impossible to listen to WSM on 650 because the screech in the background can't be completely nulled out. Yes, you can still hear WSM but it is impossible to listen to that racket for more than a minute or two. Horrible.

Is the Cuban making the beeping noise that sounds like Morse Code gone bad? 670 is pretty quiet in Houston, but I catch that beeping on it from time to time and never knew its origin.

Here: almost always Miami (WWFE) daytime mixed in with the Cuban. At night, all Cuba. WSCR is almost never heard here compared to the other Chicago clears (especially WBBM and WLS, who come in well most nights).

670 is nothing days, and KBOI Boise by night. Also have heard Radio Rebelde, KMZQ-NV and WSCR-IL under KBOI.

Nothing during the day.
At night it is KBOI from Boise, ID

from a couple miles south of El Cajon, CA:
Day - weak KIRN Simi Valley, CA (actually ranges from no signal on Coby CX-70, Ultronics Sports Radio, currently-non-functional Panasonic RQ-SW44V, to fairly decent signal with little to moderate residual noise on GE Superradio III, or Select-A-Tenna-aided SRF-M37W, PL-398mp, etc.)
Night - KIRN dominates the channel with a moderate strength signal. KBOI used to dominate with a decent signal before their pattern change several years ago.
Sunrise/Sunset - KMZQ frequently pokes through.
Also I heard KBOI's DX test some months back well on top of the channel with a fairly decent signal.

670 Cuba is Radio Rebelde. No Radio Reloj (that I know of). I'm still trying for 570 under KVI but that is like a once in a lifetime chance in WA state. If I get anything under KVI it's mainly CKWL Williams Lake BC with country mx.

KBOI's DX test happened on a night where aurora was hot (back in March). Two days after that DX test I had KSMX-1240 Santa Maria, CA which is my graveyard record at 878 miles away.
