AMY B OUT AT KPLX

Ok, yall can be idiots, but I nor anyone else would be able to remember every single event that was done. All I know is that I helped her at least 3 years straight for events that SHE went to HERE in DALLAS EVERY WEEK! I don't care what yall say. I know the truth, and that's all that matters. It's funny how when I first met her was an event back in 2002 at Jupiter Chevrolet in Garland, Texas and she told me that she missed her home of Sedona. She told me that when she could get time, she'd love to go back there. Being an artist/drawer, I offered to strike up a mural of Sedona for her. She told me that she enjoyed living in Texas but wanted to go back to Arizona so bad. Now.......I'm not making any of that up. Also, for the Promo people not to have any insight is wrong. When someone that joins has an intrest in broadcast radio, you tend to know what's going on. I remember when they were talking about Rebecca leaving and going over to KSCS. I've done work at other stations around such as KLUV.
Okay Tjenn, whatever. But I know who "Coronaextra" is. And just to give you an insight into her knowledge of the situation, picture this: Stand in the door of the wolf studio facing out. Take a left turn head through the KLIF newsroom (on your right) and the KLIF Imaging studio (the glass wall on your left). Go through the "doorway" and look to your left. That was Coronaextras desk for 4 years. Which as she stated, was about the same time we're all "claiming" that Amy was in Arizona.

So here we have you, who can't remember the location of an event you claim Amy did every week. Balanced against Coronaextra, the Susquehanna/Cumulus employee who's desk is probably closer than anyone else in the building to the studio that you claim Amy worked in. And yet she rarely if ever saw here there.

"Coronaextra" has no reason to lie, yet you claim to know the truth. I don't think you'd know the truth if it bit you on the a**...She lived and worked from Sedona. Period. End of story.

Little 1...what did you do at the Wolf?

Nice ;) She's missed.

Me or Amy?

Well, so much for remaining unknown though I think I said who I was when everyone was trashing Ankarlo, and I came to his defense. 8)

Technically Little1, it was turn right out of the Wolf studios, right into the hall, then left through the old KLIF news room, past the KLIF imaging studio and promo closet, through the door, and turn right into my office--a distance that could be covered in under 10 seconds in case of commercial emergency. A space whose view I loved, and where I perfected my aim so well I could hit Grif with almost any object thrown.

But alas, now I'm just a measly little independent freelancer in the beautiful Pacific Northwest who happens to do afternoons on a country station in market 217, still heard on the stations broadcasting from the Mothership from time to time, and loving life.

Probably as much as Amy enjoys her freedom in Sedona where she's lived full-time since 2003. Good luck, girl! I still want to bring my bike down there and ride.

I was the guy who pressed the very first button at the then new KLIF/KPLX studios in Dallas. If I recall, if you were in the KPLX studio, facing the door, and turned *right* when you exited, it was another *right* to the KLIF news room.

Converse amongst yourselves. Or, just give it up.

Amy "B" phoned it in via ISDN. Who cares? Hell, I'd give her a job!

How'bout Afternoons at KILT? ;) (just kidding Rowdy)

Uh, I wasn't aware it was open. : ;D Seriously, I loved her stuff. I agree it wasn't for everyone, but she sure made a name for herself and that station. I also thought the kid that did the traffic was talented too. I do not know if he ever relayed a single bit of real, reliable traffic information, but people loved his act. LIke, Amy, an act I'm sure it was/is.

On the recent controversy over whether Amy B. was actually in Dallas at the time of her radio broadcasts, there is a famous photo which now resides in the National Archives that someone took overlooking Dealy Plaza.

There is an image showing a woman clearly from Alabama standing right in front of the pickett fence. We know she's from Alabama 'cause she's in a t-shirt that has a Yosemite Sam like character and the caption reads, "Forget Hell!"

Oh, and she's holding hands with E. Howard Hunt and Frank Strugis. Clearly, she was in Dallas at the time of her broadcast, despite what the Warren Commission said.
