Andy Richter To Follow Conan To TBS

Kind of sad that Max won't be there. I look at Richter as a curse on that show. At NBC "Late Night"it was alsmost canceled when Andy was there. Then he leaves and the show does bettter. Andy comes back for The Tonight Show and it's canceled within Months! Every show Andy is on is canceled within months! Nothing personal against Andy, but if I had a show I don't even know if I would want him working in the same building!

I have to agree. While I think Andy is a talent in his own right, He just doesn't work as a sidekick to Conan. Look how much better Late Night got after he left, and I think he's the main reason Conan was so short-lived at the Tonight Show.

I don't agree. Granted, Andy didn't distinguish himself at The Tonight Show, but the greater problem was with the writing. The monologue was often flat, and many of the ongoing bits (Conando, Twitter Tracker) were just awful. And I say that as a fan of both Conan and Richter. The 'edge' of the Late Night show was gone, replaced by much inferior material.

I have to agree with Lkeller. Conan's 'Tonight' was a bomb in the writing department and it smelled like stinky NBC/Universal Executive all over it.

no truth I suppose to the rumor that Andy Richter is actually a robot designed and
built by Grant Imahara?
