I stopped paraphrasing for radio hosts a long time ago (see Rusty Humphries) But this was to give you folks a chance to watch and comment. I believe that's part of what goes on here?

Anyhow, I thought the "patriotic duty" comment was a stretch.

Did you catch the Master Blogger foaming at the mouth on Mac & Cheese's show? Nurse Jeff and I are convinced he's memo'ed the newstaff to include this self surving piece of fluff in every newscast.

Tuesday will be day #5 of KT'R in Crisis! Someone call the Guv and send out the guard...oh that's right, she's pis#ed off at TMISU for the April Fool's day stunt.

.....even the ASU mouthpiece calls 'em KT'R! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
 
And................ KTAR led every TV newscast in Phoenix.

Meanwhile...................... KFYI managers are looking at this guy's resume at http://phoenix.craigslist.org/sks/642778404.html

KNIX is paying boo-co bucks for commercials on TV while KTAR has led the news reports on TV and in the papers for two solid weeks.

Got a message for ya, thenewz: Great programming wins ratings, not April Fool's jokes (that backfire!), juvenile pranks or spring-boarding off non-existent controversies. When will my boss Russ Hill wake up and smell the coffee!!!???

Got my hands on today's 92-3 staff memo: "Milk it, milk it .. and milk it some more!!!"

KT'R in Crisis: Day #5 Aunt Carlos interviews Sparky and learns 92~Three will be banned from the restrooms at Sun Devil Stadium. Mac&Cheese finds out his infamous girlfriend doesn't even listen to KT'R. And the Master Blogger cans the Evil One and let's the ADOT mouthpiece voice The Crummey Minute after being reprimanded by the Guv.

;D ::) ;) More stunts in store on the home of yuk-a-minute News and Talk radio for normal peeps! ;) ;D :D
 
I don't have a horse in the race, but this could be a modern day version of the tortoise (KTAR) and the hare (KFYI). KFYI better watch out. Talk stations on FM tend to automatically attract 25-54s. If KFYI isn't careful, it'll lose--if it hasn't already--the coveted younger demo and become the old men in their underwear station. (Before you scoff at this...didn't KFYI take away what the mighty heritage KTAR once had?). I'm also not an Ankarlo fan, but...he caused--and causes--talk. All that TV and print buzz gets people to tune in. And costs KTAR nothing. Maybe it won't happen overnight, but unless the hare gets aggressive again and stops coasting, KTAR could surprise it one of these days at the finish line.

So far it's been a much easier ride for KFWhyEye than even Nurse Jeff and I predicted. Thanks to the many blunders of the Master Blogger, KT'R still hasn't lived up to it's full potential on FM. The first year was squandered by keeping Pat McBland, Paul Harvey, and Ted & Heidi in the lineup. Everything that put you asleep on 6~Twenty did the same on 92~Three. In year two, the Master Blogger decided to inject some nads in his lineup, but it still hasn't caught on fire. The April Fools and Aunt Carlos stunts will get some sampling, but overall programming is deficient. What kind of positioner is Talk Radio for Normal People?! Don't be too quick to rule out KFWhyEye as the CCU suits can easily can the Coyote and put them on 95~Five. YIKES!

KT'R in Crisis: Day #5 Can they squeeze another day out of this? Yes indeedy!
 
Hmmmm...I wuz wonderin' why Nurse Jeff is walking around the Hut with a sore finger? Aren't you only supposed to vote once in an ASU poll?


KT'R in Crisis. Will Aunt Carlos be banned at Bill Johnson's Big Apple? KT'R in Crisis. Will Sheriff Joe bust Gaydos illegal girlfriend for a cracked windshield and send her south of the border? KT'R in Crisis. Will someone forget to record Glenn Beck and Pat McBland fills in from Noon to Three? KT'R in Crisis. Will Mac&Cheese's infamous girlfriend warm up to Gaydos now that he's available?
